For over 80 years the boys of Rye, New York have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things the fun-filled, values-based environment of Pack 2. From building his own Pinewood Derby car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with his best friends at one of our many family Camp-Outs, your son will LOVE being a Cub Scout. So if he's in the first through fifth grades, or 7 to 10 years old, then it's time for him to have some fun … with Rye Pack 2! Come join the fun! Interested parents and boys in the first through fifth grade are invited to stop by Rye Rec anytime between 7 PM and 9 PM on Thursday, September 10 to learn more about Cub Scouts and Rye Pack 2.

It's crucial that all scouts and parents attend our first pack meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 17 from 7-8:30 PM at Rye Presbyterian Church. We will review our plans for the coming year, distribute pack t-shirts, solicit volunteers for various activities, kick-off our annual popcorn sale fundraiser, handle paperwork and dues, etc. Don't miss it!

Fall Campout & Fishing Derby - Sat., Sept. 26 - Sun., Sept. 27

This year we will be combining our annual fall campout with a fun fishing derby at beautiful Camp Seton in nearby Greenwich, CT. Rye Boy Scout Troop 2 will also be participating, and boys will earn their fishing belt loop! Please see detailed agenda below. In addition to standard camping gear, please bring fishing gear if you have it, but gear will be provided for those who do not and live bait will be available for sale. Total cost: $25 per person covers the fishing and camping, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday. Registration closes Thursday September 17 at 5 PM! Questions?
